Welcome KSTM Parents to Your PTA!

Welcome KSTM Parents to Your PTA!

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! We have some exciting opportunities for you to be a part of the PTA.

Our Hullabaloo will be in September also. Monday, September 25th, for 7th & 8th graders and Tuesday, September 26th for 5th & 6th graders. Help will be needed. This will be after school. There is only one Hullabaloo for each grade scheduled this year. Concessions will be sold. Tickets are $5 each for students. There will be a DJ, an inflatable, games, and more.

Our budget is $6,000. We raise our funds through the Hullabaloo, raffles, and other ideas that don’t use catalog selling.

We spend our money on the 8th grade trip ($1,000), Staff Appreciation and other staff meals ($1,000), 2 Scholarships ($500 each = $1,000), Ice Cream Socials ($400), Items at Open Houses ($400) Worthy Causes ($1,000) these are requests that come from teachers, club sponsors, and/or coaches, and we also pay for Insurance and PTA member dues.

If you are interested in helping out with any of these great opportunities you can check out our SignUpGenius link www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F0B4BABA62CA64-hullabaloo1or email Nickie Landis wnlandis@cox.net and she’ll give you more information.

Birthday Ice Cream Socials are usually held the 1st Fridays of the month at 2:30pm. We celebrate KSTM students who have birthdays during that month. Our September Birthday Social is for August/September birthdays and our May Birthday Social is for our May/June/July birthdays. We use PTA volunteers to serve the ice cream and toppings. Volunteers meet at 2pm in the cafeteria. We can always use help. The next ice cream social is Friday, October 6th. Natalie Push is the chair of the Birthday Ice Cream Social.

Thanks for your support,
Your KSTM PTA Board
