About Me

   I teach Computer Applications 1,2,3,4 and Digital Media 8 (Yearbook and Web Design).  I received degrees are from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Bachelor of Science in Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Educational Endorcements in Art and Technology.  I have a minor in Business and Marketing and Airnautics studies from UNO.  My internship was at American Airlines in Dallas, Texas with the research in Communications training between Airline Dispatch and Pilots. This two year study was adopted in revised training for all air carriers in the U.S. Other activities is being a member in Scottsdale Artists League and the a Studio/Gallery in the Scottsdale Creative Center. 

   I entered education as a second career after working at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for 26 years in the Information Technology department.  My second experience was working at Nebraska Furniture Mart part time since 1988 in the Design department and then as a lead in sales associate in computer software then in Entertainment sales. I also worked for Fairmont Printing Studios in Graphic Arts and Design Productions  Working in a store environment and Graphic Arts studio has provided me many opportunities to learn retail and marketing stratigies.  My second home in Scottsdale, Arizona has created more artistic opportunities in my design space and gallery.  I feel that my diverse background has been a great asset in teaching providing students with knowledge in Technology and the Graphic Design fields.. My philosophy in teaching as a class is that when students enter my class we create a community of combined learning and understanding  during this experience.

   I teach Computer Applications 1,2,3,4 and Digital Media 8 (Yearbook and Web Design) technology courses.  The courses I teach are 5th - 8th Grade - Computer Applications, 8th Grade - Digital Media 8 (Yearbook and Web Design) Course. After schools activities in The Boys and Girls Clubs teaching technology oriented club activities. 
   My background is Art Endorsement and Technology Endorsement with a Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA)  from the University of Nebraska Omaha and Lincoln.
