Reach for the Stars!

Congratulations to the  Science Olympiad team that competed in the annual regional competition at the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium!

They placed in all but one of the competitions they participated in! Science Olympiad competitions appear as tests, labs, and engineering builds concerning the content area. The State Science Olympiad competition will be held at UNL on April 21st.

Disease Detectives (Infectious Disease test) - 3rd place - Emmerson G. and Achilles B.

Towers (engineering) - 5th place - Comet S. and Olivia C.

Fast Facts (timed science trivia) - 1st Place - Sam P. and Seamus C.

Dynamic Planet (climate test) - 4th Place - Achilles B.
Experimental Design - 4th Place - Achilles B.

Congratulations to our science bowl team on their victory at the Regional Science Bowl!

They will go on to represent Nebraska at the National Science Bowl competition in Washington, D.C. this April.
