Welcome to Ms. DeLeon's Page

Greetings!  This year marks my 8th year of teaching with the Omaha Public Schools and I have been at King Science & Technology for all 8 years.  I was born and raised in Omaha & graduated from Omaha South High in 2001. I recently completed my Masters degree in Teaching from the College of Saint Mary and plan to continue my education one day.

In my free time, I spend a lot of time with my two children (Lilliana & Nels). I think of all my students, and their families, as my extended family. I get to meet the most wonderful people in my profession and appreciate your partnership during (and after!) the time I spend with your student.

With that being said, it is a must that we continuously communicate to do what is best for the children. Please keep in mind that you are always invited to visit my classroom. Also, your input and open communication is very important to me.

Classroom Expectations

Students are expected to act in a manner that allows all students to learn and the teacher to teach with a minimum of disruptions. In my classroom I have specific expectations to ensure students success and learning.

-Raise your hand.

-Speak & Listen courteously.

-Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

-Ask for permission to be out of your seat or area of learning.

-Be respectful.

-Be responsible.

-Be safe.
